UPDATE AS OF 5-6-2008, 7:27 AM:
BREAKING NEWS!!!
THE FIRST ANNUAL BAT-A-THON WAS HELD LAST WEEKEND TO A RESOUNDING SUCCESS FOR ALL 10-12 YEAR-OLD TEAMS. MANY THANKS TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS WHO MANNED THE PITCHING MACHINES, CHASED THE BALLS AND GUIDED THE CHILDREN. A SPECIAL THANKS TO SUSAN FITHIAN AND LINDA REICHART FOR ORGANZING THE WHOLE EVENT FROM BEGINNING TO END.
The Major's program has decided to expand from nine teams to eleven teams to accommodate the Little League International mandate that all twelve year-olds must play in the Major's, unless these twelve year-olds specifically opt-out from the Major's program. You are encouraged to attend monthly meetings on the last Monday of the month. See "Calendar" above for time/date/locations.
For the upcoming 2008 ESLL season, Little League Age Affected 6-year old players only, who have already completed 2 seasons at the T-Ball level, can advance into the 7-8 year old Instructional Division. However, the additional year of play for that player determined by Little League Age Rules, will need to be served participating in the Instructional Division. That player cannot advance to the 9 year old division until that player is player age 9 set forth by the Little League Age Guidelines. This affects players who were born between May 1, 2001, and July 31, 2001.
